Panerai British Classic Week – the premier classic yacht regatta in the UK. The annual Regatta of the BRITISH CLASSIC YACHT CLUB will see the 16th edition in 2017 and not only attracts entries from Britain but also regularly from Europe, and in 2016, from Australia and New Zealand. The regatta is an occasion for classic boat enthusiasts to enjoy good racing and to spend time with other sailors who share the same appreciation of classics.
The regatta, which is part of the Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge, has been held every year since the America’s Cup Jubilee was held in Cowes in 2001.
The 2017 regatta, is taking place from 8th – 15th July, and we are anticipating a wide entry with yachts from around the globe looking to race in the Solent. The racing is once again being organised by Royal Yacht Squadron Racing with a seven race series including an Around the Island Race sponsored by EFG International on Monday 10th July.
