Forecast for tomorrow’s 42nd “Opera House Cup” is for gradually clearing skies ahead of a cool front. Building southwest winds, gradually turning to the west around 5:00pm. Low tide is 11:56am and the set will be towards Great Point.

Forty seven yachts have entered the regatta, as of this writing. Seven 12 metre yachts, two 8 metre yachts, two W-Class yachts, and sharing oldest yacht in the fleet honors are two 1902 N.G. Herreshoff Buzzards Bay 30s “QUAKERESS II”, and “WACHIWI”

Last years race was held in variable Southeast winds 4-11knts with the 1970 Olin Stephens designed 12 meter VALIANT winning first overall.
