We list Alex Thomson’s sailing travails, the Clipper boats arrive in Cape Town, the fast windsurfers in Namibia, the 5 retirements on Day 1 of the TJV, John Navas with his long lens was on San Francisco Bay to shoot the Artemis crew testing their AC45 Turbo, Oman Sail at the World RS:X Windsurfing Championships and the Transat Jacques Vabre start and supreme test of new boats for the “Ultimate in Sailing” next year’s Vendee Globe. And seeing by this week’s WoW the boats have failed the first test. At uploading time another IMOCA 60 Spirit of Hungry has been dis-masted.
