Dragesejlads (ca. 1940-1945)

Uploaded on Feb 27, 2012

Dansk Drageklub Lars Stenfeldt Hansen

During World War II, it was not possible to race and sail Dragons in Øresund (The Sound) and therefore all sailing activities where moved to Isefjorden. We found this unique film in our old archives and it is a combination of documentary and entertainment (55min.) and shows the real Dragon spirit among the sailors. Social activities combined with competitive racing on the water was the real foundation to keep the class together. We hope you will enjoy the movie and sense the Dragon spirit as we see today when we all meet and compete against each other. Danish Dragon Association Lars Stenfeldt Hansen.
