2016 Etchells Biscayne Bay Series (Miami, Florida)
Etchells Fleet 20 is one of the most active Etchells fleets in North America. Members consist of past World Champions and a very active group of Etchells competitors who have traveled North America and the world for major Etchells events.
The Biscayne Bay Series consist of four regattas:
Louis Piana Cup Regatta (Dec 5-6th 2015)
Sidney Doren Memorial Regatta (Jan 9-10, 2016)
Florida State Championship (Feb 6-7, 2016)
Mid-Winter’s East Regatta. (Feb 26-28, 2016)
As of this writing their are 57 boats entered for the Florida State Championships, with campaigns ranging from CAN, GBR, USA, NZL, GRE, SUI, and BER. Up to 5 races are scheduled over 2 days on Biscayne Bay, with the 1st Start at 1100 each day. Use the following link for complete information, including regatta administration and yacht scoring.
