Historical:

William Gardner Aspirant, designed for the Hanan boys, built by Woods and launched in 1903, was another great success. Sailed and owned by the very successful amateur invincible racing skippers Addison G. and H. Wilmer Hanan. In two years of hard racing the pair lost only two races.
