Tall ship Providence, damaged extensively from winter storm Juno, has started a fund raising campaign with a goal of raising $900,000 to cover updates to the ship not covered by insurance and to support the crew who takes care of the vessel. to raise money to repair the sailing vessel.
When the goal is met: A Thank You will be created for all who have donated
A plaque will be made to live on the ship with the name of each donor to come find upon visiting the Providence once she is launched again. The owners has set the following parameters.
“For larger donations we can begin a collaboration for your company or charity:
Contributions, Sponsorships and Donations between:
$2,000 – $5,999 will get you a night sleeping on board with 2-10 of your family or friends.
$6,000-$8,999 will receive a dock side party with 39 of your closest friends
$9,000 and up will get a private day of sailing with 39 of your closest friends.
All who wish to schedule dates are subject to availability and flexibility.
