Author of “The Once and Future Ocean,” Mr. Neill discusses why the ocean matters and the necessity for a new, sustainable paradigm away from unrestricted growth based on fossil fuel-driven consumption. He will discuss new solutions, emerging recommendations for change, and specific ideas for preserving the health of the ocean. Neill is founder and director of the World Ocean Observatory and served 20 years as President of the South Street Seaport Museum in New York City.
