On Friday, 5th June, the Royal London Yacht Club as organisers of the regatta, issued a Press Release simultaneously with Cowes Week Ltd announcing that the 2020 regattas would not take place.

You will appreciate that we have faced many challenging moments since February this year, but we are confident that when all factors are considered we have made the right and responsible decision.

We are very grateful to our sponsors, staff and volunteers who have all steadfastly supported the regatta and determined to make 2021 better than ever.

Thank you too to those competitors who demonstrated their support by entering the regatta well before the revised early bird cut-off date. If you wish to roll over your entry to 2021 your entry fee will be frozen at the 2020 level. In this case you need to nothing. Should you prefer a refund, please email RLYCsailing@rlyc.org.uk stating the name of your boat and sail number together with the name of the entrant.
