Sail Newport’s Tom Lemaire on Q4 wins with 12 Points. – Saturday’s Weather conditions, SSW winds building into the twenties. After 4 races Longtail skippered by Courtenay Jenkins sat in first place. Q4 and G14 (Arron Maass) were hot on her tail as the fleet moored for the evening, and enjoyed the post race festivities at the Gibson Island Yacht Club.
Sunday morning conditions light, with winds 5-8 kts. John Clinnin got a bullet in the first race, but Q4 gained on Longtail with a second place finish.
By the third race, the wind was in the high teens, 3 boats had a chance at the title, but Q4, skippered by Tom Lemaire from Newport, RI, won the Regatta with a 2-3-1 finish.
