On this Day ( March 15) – Schooner Lily Goes Green

March 15, 2016 – Stuart, Florida — Although most people would consider the Schooner Lily to be a pretty green boat compared to most, it will be even more green this week as she sails for her annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration! St. Patrick’s is a pretty special day for the Schooner Lily and her crew. Her owners, Captain Fred and First Mate Jamie met on this day six years ago at a pub in town; they soon after left for a job in Maine and then worked to bring the Lily down to their hometown of Stuart. Hard work has paid off, and the Schooner Lily now calls Stuart her home.

In celebration of lucky circumstance, a little witch’s brew and music, and the wonderful things these bring, their St. Patrick’s Day sails are uniquely exciting as passengers sail, drink and enjoy a long acoustic Irish set aboard her timbers. Cheers to the luck of the Irish!
