The 2014 edition of the Corinthian Classic Yacht Regatta – presented by Officine Panerai – is indeed a special event. This is Officine Panerai’s 10th Anniversary of presenting the Panerai Classic Yacht Challenge, which takes place in 11 different venues around the world. It can honestly be said that no sponsor has done more for the growth of classic yacht racing than Officine Panerai. Thank you, Officine Panerai.
As part of their appreciation for all those who sail in their events – including the Corinthian Classic – Officine Panerai has loaded the chest with more “silver” and more ways for Panerai qualifiers to win.
Here’s what they’ve done: Panerai is now going to award 4 division winners for each regatta, and the overall regatta winner (taking home the watch) will be based on that boat’s performance WITHIN a Panerai division. Panerai Division Definitions
A good example would be that if you qualify for inclusion in a Panerai division and beat 20 boats, your performance may best a yacht that beat 3 other competitors – no matter what the time separation – and win you a Panerai Trophy.
We commend Officine Panerai for their generosity, spirit, and commitment to creating more opportunities to compete for their outstanding awards. For details, please visit www.PaneraiClassicYachtsChallenge.com
Please note that these awards do NOT exclude you from winning Corinthian Classic “Silver”.
The Corinthian Classic will be held August 9 & 10.

Yes, you’ve got a “Classic” and this venue is P-E-R-F-E-C-T to get out and really sail her for fun and maybe a bit of glory. The Corinthian Classic Yacht Regatta continues to encourage and welcome Classic GRP (Classic Plastic) boats designed to the CCA rule to participate.
Who should be here? If your yacht was built of GRP (glass re-enforced fiberglass), has a transom that is counter style, and/or built before 1972, you should be here! Have one of these or something like it? We’d love to see you.
