As we approach the official close to the New England Summer sailing season, we would like to thank all who have made the Corinthian Classic Yacht Regatta possible.
The Corinthian Classic Yacht Regatta has meant so much to all whom have been fortunate enough to attend this first class event, hosted by one of the finest yacht clubs this side of the Atlantic. The first Regatta, of the North American Panerai Classic Yacht Challenge, has earned rave reviews, not only from the attending competitors, but also from the extended families who have found lifelong friends along this iconic shoreline, known as the home of the Corinthian Yacht Club.
The Corinthian Yacht Club, has been at the epicenter of the sailing and social scene since the clubs inception in 1895. A magnificent club situated amongst the rocky shoreline of Marblehead, Massachusetts, with one of the most notable porches, were dignitaries, sailing legends, members and their guest have all come to view the breathtaking scenery which defines its home at the head of the harbor
A special thanks to the tireless efforts of Timmy Dittrich, and his co-race chairman Bruce Dyson, the entire club’s staff and to Commodore Brent Larlee, for opening the doors of the club, and making this event possible, all during one of the busiest weekends of the calendar year.
We look forward to hearing the roar of cannons at sunset, and to seeing again our great friends at the Corinthian Yacht Club in 2016
