If anyone is interested, I have some pictures of the time…
While living in St. Thomas in the early 1980s I got to know the two young guys who owned Rugosa at that time, and went on a daysail with them. It was amazing to see current owner Halsey Herreshoff show up with Rugosa at Goat Island Marina in Newport a few years ago. And I enjoyed watching Rugosa parade by a couple days ago in Newport Harbor.
I like to make a model of NY 40
Where I can find at least sketch of plans?

I think it is called the Hart Collection at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where they are the repository of Nathaniel Herreshoff’s plans. There are instructions on MIT’s museum website for requesting copies.
Hart Nautical museum at MIT has complete N.Y. 40 plans, at least the two built in 1926, Rugosa and Marilee.
