Historical: – Commissioned by Eric Lundgren in 1936, an avid racing sailor, she was to be an evolution of the 75 square meter class which was popular in Sweden during the 20′s and 30′s. Designed by Knud Reimers and built by Plyms, Bacchant was a continuation of Reimer’s innovative light displacement designs in the 22 and 30 square meter classes.
