Historical:

Whether sailing the shoal waters of Nantucket’s Inner Harbor to the Wauwinet Inn for lunch, or enjoying a warm South-Easterly breeze in the Lake Worth Lagoon of the Palm Beaches, Donald Tofias’ new W-22 will get you there in style.

Filly and Colt, the two initial little yachts that were built in 2015, are the offspring of founder Donald Tofias’ W-Class line of yachts. The W-22s lineage can be traced back to Joel White, designer, of the two W-76s White Wings and Wild Horses, and name sake of W-Class yachts.

In looking for a shallow water cruiser DT decided on the Joel White designed Sakonnet 23s as inspiration for the all new W-22. Her original lines were tweaked by Joel’s son Steve White, the Brooklin Boatyard Design Group, with assistance from Bruce Johnson of Front Street Shipyard, a Taylor Allen, Steve White, JB Turner, Ken Priest collaborating partnership.
