The IYRU Fifteen Metre class yachts were constructed to the First International rule of 1907. A total of twenty 15mR yachts were built between 1907 and 1917, MARISKA, one of four remaining vessels, was designed, built and launched in 1908 by William Fife III.
Bought by her current owner in 2007, MARISKA underwent an incredibly comprehensive restoration that lasted two and half years and took 25,000 man-hours. During this time, the yacht was completely stripped back to bare frames and restored from the keel up. Re-launched in September 2009, she secured two impressive second places in the Coupe d’Automne YCF and Les Voiles de St. Tropez. Since then she has continued to build a spectacular palmarès that notably includes winning the 15m Class Trophy in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017. Having won the Giraglia, Puerto Sherry, San Remo and St Tropez during 2016 (The Grand Slam) this was a season that demonstrated the astonishing capability of this superb yacht and crew and was achieved again in 2017!
