Thomas Matlock – Schooner Wanderer – This is a “teaser” I made for fun, after acquiring and digitizing family home movies a few years ago. These are clips from 29 minutes of 8mm film that Melvin P. Miller of Albany, OR, shot on this voyage. Schooner “Wanderer” was previously owned by actor/seaman Sterling Hayden & was owned and captained by Omer Darr on this trip. Wanderer was wrecked off Tahiti later in 1964. Music “Unto the Resplendent” by The Mermen.
