Spirit Yachts – The Spirit yard here on the east coast of the UK continues to thrive. Sailing yachts currently in build include two Spirit 72DHs, a 68DH, a 52, and a 30. Two of these yachts are hybrid electric drives and one is fully electric, demonstrating our commitment to sustainability and lowering the carbon footprint of all our yachts.
Our approach to sustainability is one of the reasons Spirit Yachts was selected to feature in a recent BBC documentary. It opens our doors to the public and shares the real Spirit story; I was incredibly proud to watch it with all of the team. If you have access to BBC iPlayer, you can watch it via the link below.
Looking ahead to the new year, the Spirit 30 will be on display at boot Düsseldorf from 21st – 29th January. She is a beautiful example of Spirit design and craftsmanship married with the latest technology. Pop by to see us if you’re visiting the show or book a private appointment.

Spirit Yachts Stars in BBC Documentary
A new BBC TV programme titled Making Waves: Building Boats tells the story of why Spirit was founded, how the yachts are made, and the people behind the projects. With a focus on sustainability, the documentary also explores how Spirit is delivering on its commitment to lower the carbon footprint of its yachts.
