MOY Classic Yacht Regatta The third and final venue of the North American Panerai Classic Yacht Challenge is Newport, Rhode Island.

CLASSIC YACHT DIVISION Non- Spinnaker with a CRF rating of 34 and over

1st Place “Quest” (CRF Rating 35.2)

Quest The 8 Metre was partially built in 1929-1930 by Fife III family’s yard in Fairlie, Scotland, then shipped to Oakville, Canada, with a complete set of instructions for final assembly and launching. Spent her entire life in fresh water until 2011. One of three “eights” owned by Ronald and Diane Palm, and is one of an active fleet of 8-Meters that race in the summer out of the Royal Canadian Yacht Club in Toronto.

1st Place “Ruweida” (CRF Rating)

Ruweida was built in 1926 by George S. Lawley & Sons of Masachussetts for Commodore Boggs of Corinthian Yacht Club. (Specifications: LOA: 38′10″ * LWL: 25′0″ * Beam: 7’0″ * Draft 5’9″ * Sail Area: 591 sq ft

SPIRIT of TRADITION Non-Spinnaker

1st Place Rival (CRF Rating 30.2)

RIVAL was designed in the classic spirit of old sailing traditions. Dave has raced this boat in the Corinthian Classic Boat Regatta for several years and this year not only won in his class but also won the Best Overall Performance Trophy, the William Starling Burgess Trophy. (Specifications: LOA: 37.50′ * LWL: 30.00′ * Beam: 12.25′ * Draft 6.75′ * Sail Area: 658 ft2
