Three Regattas Down East Through the Magnificent Waters of Maine – The invitational series contains two feeder races (mandatory dinghy in tow) and the crown jewel of the series The Eggemoggin Reach Regatta. All three regattas epitomizes the best of sportsmanship and safe sailing and where the impetus is to have a “FUN” race with many old priceless classic boats, where competitors are expected to sail conservatively and avoid dangerous situations.
Thursday July 31st, the 15th Annual 19.6nm Castine Classic Yacht Race. starts off Dice’s Head, Castine and finishes off Curtis Island, Camden.
Friday August 1st, the Camden Classic Yacht Race, now in its 27th year, will once again follow a course similar to that of past years, going north of North Haven Island and through the Deer Island Thoroughfare.
Saturday August 2nd, the pinnacle regatta of the series, the 29th annual 15-mile Eggemoggin Reach Regatta starts Northwest of Torrey Castle and Torrey Ledge, and will finish between Babson Island and Naskeag Peninsula.
