We are a online publication and world-wide consortium of Vintage, Classic and Spirit of Tradition yacht owners, sailors, and merchants committed to keeping the spirit of the legends alive through our web presence and our USR Black Label Race Team.
The stories, and racing histories of these magnificent craft are important to the overall valuation of each yachts role in history. We encourage our readers to contribute with historical contributions (comments) when possible.

I do a lot of work promoting classic sailboats. Please review my site and see if I can be listed among the beautiful classics in your site.
Thanks
My son has a Hereschoff 28 ketch that he plans to sail for 7 plus days on the Gulf of Mexico with no ports of call. He needs to take provisions (food , water gear etc.) for 4 grown men.. He has no sun protection and will be sailing in the summer heat.
I estimate the weight of his crew and provisions to be approximately 1200 pounds. Do you think this boat has that carrying capacity and how will this amount of weight effect the sailing performance.
Thank you A. H. Felman
