Spirit Yachts Partners with BAR Technologies to Deliver Electric Foiling Yacht.

Spirit Yachts – The secret is out… We are excited to announce a new partnership with BAR Technologies to create a fully electric, foiling 35foot motor yacht.

This groundbreaking yacht is now in build at our yard in Suffolk, having been commissioned by the owner of the award-winning Spirit 111 Geist. The project embodies our commitment to innovation and will push the boundaries of electric drive technology.

BAR Technologies will bring its America’s Cup simulation and design expertise to deliver an optimal hull form below the waterline, using foil technology to minimise hull contact with the water and improve both comfort and efficiency.
The vessel will ‘take-off’ at 14 knots, and once flying, will cruise at 22 knots and a top speed of 30 knots.
