The Amazing Story of Ester

John Lammerts van Bueren tells the story of Ester, one of Sweden’s crown jewels. A revolutionary design from 1901, where the world had yet to take to the sky, and where no man had visited the North or South poles.

Upon Esters launching, she proved unbeatable in the races she entered for thirty years, up until the time she sank to 52 meters. Ester lay waiting for nearly 70 years for a ambitious new owner to come along and rescue her.

Listen to the amazing story of a Swedish icon and to the incredible restoration efforts of her new stewards Bo Eriksson and Per Hellgren.
