The Düsseldorf International Boat Show, more commonly known as boot Düsseldorf or just boot is one of the world’s premier boat shows. With some 1,600 exhibitors from over 50 countries, boot Düsseldorf is considered a benchmark for the international boat and water sports industry.
After a highly successful launch of the LA 28 at Boot 2017, The LA 35 continues this story in terms of design as well as standards. Extended in length by 7 ft., the new model offers more space and features making her a bit more than just a daysailer, while remaining easy to handle.
The LA 35 was designed by Martin Menzner, Berckemeyer Yacht Design and is offered and built by LA Yacht und Bootsbau GmbH as a series in various configuration variants.

Hull and Deck
The hull and deck are completely made of molded wood and with modern vacuum technology. The inner layers are made of cedar or Sipo. The exterior veneer is made from selected khaya. The upper deck layer is a teak deck. High quality EP resin is used for gluing veneers.
Keel and Rudder
T-keel made of carbon fin with lead bomb as fixed keel or lifting keel (2.10 to 0.9 m, ballast 1.2 t). Rudder pre-balanced on ball-bearing shaft with tiller steering.
Rigging and Sails
Mast and boom in carbon. Rigging in Dyform. Rolling device of Bartels under deck. Rodkicker in carbon with gas spring. Auto Turning Stick and Traveler. Mainsail issued with a reef. Code 0 and gennaker on the extendable bowsprit.
Deck Fittings
All deck fittings including winches are from Harken. The brand of cleats is by default nouns.
Option: cleats according to customer specifications.
Engine
Installation machine electric or diesel.
Electrical Device
Consumer battery 180 AH, shore supply, main battery switch, battery charger, switch panel for on-board electrical system with circuit breakers, LED lighting inside and outside.
Further options in consultation with the customer.
Interior
Scots and furniture made of pleasant, warm-looking mahogany marine plywood. Padding of 10 cm thick foam with synthetic leather covers.
Forecastle
with V-berth for 2 persons (length 2.20 m), separated from the living room and door
Salon
Salon or aft berths as seating and lying area / partly under the outdoor bench (length: 2.10 m) incl. Small pantry and carbon sink
Head
The head is equipped with a marine toilet, a sink and a pressurized water system. The fresh water tank holds approx. 80l.
