Harry Herrmann, bought the Rugosa from the Mystic Seaport in 1965. We sailed her on the Long Island Sound. She was kept at the Cedar Point Yacht Club in Westport, CT.
If anyone is interested, I have some pictures of the time…

While living in St. Thomas in the early 1980s I got to know the two young guys who owned Rugosa at that time, and went on a daysail with them. It was amazing to see current owner Halsey Herreshoff show up with Rugosa at Goat Island Marina in Newport a few years ago. And I enjoyed watching Rugosa parade by a couple days ago in Newport Harbor.
